Layer Marney Hall – Roving Reporter

This month, Philippa Brewell, our roving reporter, visits Layer Marney Hall, a stunning Tudor building which was visited by Henry VIII and is incredibly well preserved today. Philippa shows us inside the tower, taking us all the way up onto the roof, and then back down into the Great Hall, followed by showing us the stunning church building where the tombs of Henry, 1st Lord Marney and his son, John, 2nd Lord Marney, are laid to rest under beautifully carved effigies. This visit is excellent - thank you Philippa!

Please note: Sound quality at the beginning is slightly lower than normal due to the heavy rainfall while Philippa was visiting. We can fix most things, but not the British weather!!!
