Hi, I’ve just been doing my family tree and William is my 13th great grand. Going back through my great grandmother as she was a Hawkins. As her maiden name.

William Hawkins is my 13th great grandfather also! My great grandmother was a Hawkins at birth too,how strange? Have been watching David Olusoga’s slave trade documentary about my 13th grand uncle John. Not proud history but greatly of interest. Wish there was a portrait of William too.
