Thanks for a fascinating talk, Julian. Mons Meg is huge, and one can understand its effectiveness against castles. Such enormous cannon must have been difficult to manoeuvre on the Battlefield, as James found to his cost. I loved the mix of art and weaponry in this talk. Thanks again.

The size of that cannon was unbelievable to me. When at first you said “a gun” I wasn’t expecting a cannon. WOW – huge! So wonderful that it can still be seen, today. I enjoyed the drawings and photographs too! A most interesting talk about the battles and what took place, Julian. Quite fascinating! Thanks so very much.
