I read this book when it came out in 1957, from my mother’s book of the month club.
it was my introduction to the Tudor period, most importantly to Anne Boleyn. I was 12 years old. I have loved the Tudors and studied it since then. in retrospect there are some things not true(in my studies as well) but I still have the original and treasure it. That is just my opinion, and I really enjoyed the entire book.
