November 2014 Talk and Live Chat – “Bonaire and Buxom in Bed and at Board” by Karen Bowman

November's expert talk will be by historian Karen Bowman, author of Essex Girls and Essex Boys, who will be giving a talk entitled "Bonaire and Buxom in Bed and at Board", looking at the role of women in society with specific examples of Tudor women. I'm really looking forward to hearing Karen speak on this. I hope you enjoyed her magazine article on Richard Rich.

Karen is just finishing up on her latest book on the history of fashion, and that should be out in the Spring. I'll keep you updated.
