Tilting at the Rings Spanish Style

We're just coming to the end of a 3-day fiesta here in our village to celebrate our village's saints'days and I just had to share this video with you for a bit of fun as it made me think of Henry VIII and his fellow knights.

On 21st January each year, in the usually sleepy village of Lúcar, in the reigion of Andalucía, southern Spain, brave knights on their trusty steeds take part in a chivalrous tournament in celebration of the Feast of Santa Inés. They ride full gallop and attempt to insert their lances through the metal rings. Can they do it?

It’s so funny to watch. Some of them are hopeless and others are brilliant. Fiestas here are fun.
