Teasel came across some information regarding relations between Russia and England in the reign of Elizabeth I, and some correspondence between Elizabeth and Ivan IV, or Ivan the Terrible. She just had to share some of it with you today.

I have been really into this period with Ivan the Terrible and his proposal to her and also her relationship with Islam, very interesting. He wanted her as a wife but she offered poor Mary Sidney who had suffered terrible pox marks and he wasn’t impressed. Trust them to hurl insults.😂😂 🌹Thanks Teasel.
