Without modern toothpaste, floss, electric toothbrushes, mouthwash etc. just how did Tudor people clean their teeth?

    When in Roman times they used urine and powder so this was an improvement. Clove oil definitely works for toothache.

      Yes, I read up on clove oil a lot and it really does seem to work. Have you tried it, RTL?

        Hi, yes, got it in Boots and have used it a couple of times.

    I need to find clove oil. A girlfriend has used it for her son. I have terrible mouth issues, I need to read up on it. Michelle t
