But she also explains how this can backfire with tragic consequences.

Catherine. Your talk was so very interesting and quite absorbing. The Howard family through the ages, not as I had imagined them at all and (as you indicated) overall quite a vile family. Especially the men. A totally fascinating Expert Talk. “Thank you”!

Thank you Catherine for this colorful look at the Howard family. It’s nice to hear about the occasional love match but always surprising to hear how quickly the men remarry.
Interesting how little value they put on daughters yet they expect to gain much from them.
Thomas Howard is quite the character but I don’t think I can crush on him🤨
