Today is Good Friday and I will miss the procession in my village today because we're off to see the Passion play in another village, but I know that some of you enjoy the photos I share of feast days and processions here so I thought I'd share these photos from a few years ago.
Click on them to enlarge or view as a slideshow. What you can't see is that the statue of the Virgin Mary depicts her weeping. It is an incredibly moving experience being part of the procession. They stop at various points around the village and the priest says prayers and does readings.
