Upcoming Live Chats and Christmas Party – 8th and 15th December, and 4th January

Just to let you know the details of this month's live chats, including our Christmas party, and a chat in early January. Our expert speaker for December is historian Kate Cole who is talking to us about witches in Elizabethan and Stuart Essex, a fascinating topic. As the lead-up to Christmas can be rather busy, Kate will be answering your questions in a live chat session on 4th January 2019. That gives you plenty of time to view her video, which goes live on the site on 1st December.

Here are the times in different time zones:

Our first live chat in December is a special bonus live chat as part of our Tudor Society open weekend - which you can find out more about at https://www.tudorsociety.com/tudor-society-open-weekend-7-9-december-2018. A bonus expert talk will be going live here on the site on Friday 7th December. Historian Gareth Russell is talking to us about Catherine Howard. We'll then be having a live chat with him on Saturday 8th December.

Here are the times in different time zones:

Our informal chat this month is our annual Christmas party. Bring your favourite tipple and snack, and be prepared to socialise. You can introduce yourself, ask a historical question to start a bit of a debate, swap book recommendations, tell jokes, share your family's Christmas traditions .... whatever! And what's really great is that you don't have to dress up (well, you can if you like!), you can even come to the party in your pyjamas!

All three chats will be an hour long and will take place in the Tudor Society chatroom at https://www.tudorsociety.com/chatroom/.
